Welcome!

If you’ve stumbled upon this blog, you’re probably hungry, bored or currently sitting in a med school class and looking at pictures of food seems more appetizing than looking at pictures of Thromboangiitis obliterans (Quick little PSA…this is why you shouldn’t smoke). Regardless of the reason, welcome to Braised Anatomy – your ironically named, non-cannibalistic guide to cooking in medical school! We created this blog as a means of sharing our favorite recipes with fellow foodniks.
A little about us…we are both fourth year medical students attending Case Western Reserve University. We’ve lived inThe Cleve for 8 years and are currently residing in Little Italy (the home of the once… and possibly current… largest mafia organization between New York and Chicago). Despite the (at times) overwhelming workload of CWRU’s MD/MS program, we both love to cook and are excited to share this with all of you! So sit back, relax, and get ready to salivate.
(Quick little side note, thanks to Lauren Cook for coming up with the brilliant name for this blog – “Braised Anatomy”)
