Regardless of the reason, welcome to Braised Anatomy – your ironically named, non-cannibalistic guide to cooking in medical school and residency! We created this blog as a means of sharing our favorite recipes with fellow foodniks.
A little about us…we are both interns (Anita in Orthopedics and Ari in General Surgery), but were once medical students attending Case Western Reserve University. We lived in The Cleve for 8 years and were roommates in Little Italy for 3 (the home of the once… and possibly current… largest mafia organization between New York and Chicago). Despite the (at times) overwhelming workload of CWRU’s MD/MS program and now residency, we share a love of cooking and are excited to share this with all of you!
